The Yamaha Motor Gets Ready for Several Launches in 2023

The Yamaha Motor Gets Ready for Several Launches in 2023

Yamaha Bikes has recently kept a low profile in India by focusing exclusively on small-capacity motorcycles. The FZ-25 is the largest capacity motorcycle in its category, but that is set to change this year due to some intriguing intentions the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has for India.

Here are the Upcoming Yamaha bikes that will be launched later this year.

Neo’s Electric Scooter

Neo’s Electric Scooter

Earlier this year, Yamaha two wheeler displayed the Neo’s electric scooter in India. It was revealed in an exclusive interview with Eishin Chihana, Chairman of Yamaha India, that the Japanese automaker is trying to optimise the thermal management of its electric vehicle platform for the variety of climatic conditions seen throughout India. Therefore, Yamaha might introduce this scooter in India very well in 2023. However, given that it would be originally put together here, it will beho fairly pricey. The e-scooter is anticipated to cost around Rs 2.5 lakh.

Yamaha YZF-R7

Yamaha Motor has stated that it will sell a limited number of its large motorcycles in India. So to say that we are thrilled about the arrival of the Yamaha YZF-R7 in India would be an understatement. The 689cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that powers it produces 73.4PS and 67 Nm. Yamaha's latest bikes might be released in the first half of 2023 at a price of about Rs 10 lakh.

Yamaha MT-07 & Yamaha MT-09

The MT-07 and MT-09 streetfighters will also be making their way to India via the CBU (completely built units) method, expanding its inventory of big upcoming new bikes. Both bikes are powerful, well-regarded competitors in the middle-weight bike class. While the MT-07 uses the R7’s engine, the Yamaha MT-09 uses an 890cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 94 PS and 93 Nm. Expect the Yamaha MT-07 and MT-09 to go on sale in the first half of 2023 for Rs 7.50 lakh and Rs 11.50 lakh, respectively.

Yamaha FZ-X25

There is no disputing that India’s retro market is expanding, especially on the more cheap end of the market. The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a convincing example of this. Yamaha might perhaps introduce a neo-retro bike based on the FZ-25, comparable to the FZ-X, perhaps a Yamaha FZ-X25, in an effort to catch this growing market. Yamaha has the base and the engine, so the prospect of this happening is very real. We are eager to see what Yamaha comes up with.
