Yamaha has increased the prices of the Aerox 155 and Fascino scooters in India. The company cited higher logistics and material expenses behind the latest revision. As a result, buyers now need to spend more for both scooters across select variants.
The sporty Yamaha Aerox 155 now costs Rs. 2,800 more than before. Meanwhile, the stylish Yamaha Fascino has become dearer by Rs. 1,000. These updated prices of Yamaha scooters are effective immediately across dealerships.

Yamaha Aerox 155 remains one of the most powerful scooters in its segment. The standard variant now costs Rs. 1.43 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison, the Version S trim costs Rs. 1.46 lakh. The Version S variant offers extra convenience with a keyless ignition system and traction control. In addition, the scooter carries a sharp and aggressive design that attracts younger buyers.
The scooter comes with a 155cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 15bhp and 13.9 Nm torque. Moreover, Yamaha uses the same engine family in the popular R15 motorcycle. The Aerox delivers strong acceleration and smooth highway performance. However, it still manages daily city rides comfortably. The scooter also gets telescopic front forks and wide tyres for better stability.
It gets LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, and an automatic start-stop system. Furthermore, riders can pair the scooter with the Yamaha Y-Connect app for call alerts and ride details. The Aerox 155 competes directly with the Hero Xoom 160 scooty in India. However, the Aerox still stands out with its sporty tuning and refined engine performance.

The Fascino 125 scooter continues to target family and urban scooter buyers. The updated price for the top-spec Fascino S variant now stands at Rs. 96,200. On the other hand, the disc brake variant costs Rs. 89,000 (ex-showroom).
The scooter uses a 125cc fuel-injected engine paired with Yamaha’s hybrid assist technology. In simple terms, the smart motor generator supports smoother acceleration and quieter starts. In addition, Yamaha offers Bluetooth connectivity and a modern TFT display on higher trims. Safety equipment includes a side-stand engine cut-off and a combined braking system.
One major strength of the Fascino remains its lightweight body. The scooter has a kerb weight close to 99kg, and riders can handle traffic and parking with ease. The Fascino rivals the Hero Destini 125 and Suzuki Access 125. Even after the price hike.
