Ultraviolette has launched the new X-47 Venom electric motorcycle in India at an introductory starting price of Rs 2.65 lakh. The new model brings a fresh battery system, improved motor technology and smart safety features. In addition, the company has introduced its new VX-100 platform, which will also support future electric motorcycles.

Bookings for the X-47 Venom open on October 22, 2026, at 4 PM, while deliveries should begin in November 2026.

Battery, Range and Performance

Ultraviolette X-47 Venom

This newly launched Ultraviolette electric bike gets an SRB-11 battery pack with 11 kWh of usable capacity and an IDC-claimed range of 343 km. However, the actual range may change depending on riding style and road conditions.

Its electric motor produces 30 kW of power, which equals around 40 bhp & the torque (wheel) is 550Nm. Moreover, the motorcycle can reach a top speed of 155 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds.

The bike weighs 180 kg, making it up to 20 kg lighter than the previous generation. In addition, its battery pack weighs 15% less and offers better energy storage.

The battery pack is 15% lighter and claimed to be 25% more energy-dense. Axial cooling replaces the radial arrangement, doubling cooling performance. It supports DC fast charging at up to 12 kW. Ballistic mode now works until the battery falls to 10%, while regenerative braking is available from the start rather than only below a 90% charge level.

Smart Features and Rider Safety

The aviation-inspired Light Fury motor spins up to 9,000 rpm using soft magnetic components, with Ultraviolette stating that rare-earth metal usage is reduced by 50% and overall motor weight is down by 25 to 30% while maintaining or improving power output. Complementing this, the motor controller unit is twice as compact and 40% lighter than the current-generation setup.

For safety, a pyro-fuse isolates the battery circuit within microseconds if a critical fault is detected, working alongside cell-level fuses and the battery management system. Additionally, the battery enclosure features IP67-rated protection against dust and water ingress.

The motorcycle uses a rear radar system called UV Hypersense. It can monitor traffic up to 200 metres away and alert riders about vehicles in blind spots, lane changes and possible rear collisions.

In addition, the bike gets a 7-inch touchscreen, Mappls navigation, cruise control and rear-camera parking assistance. Its VIOLETTE AI system can also send alerts about movement, falls, towing and crashes.

The motorcycle will be sold in Afterburner Yellow, Turbo Red, Cosmic Black and Stellar White. Ultraviolette also announced the reusable B-MAX safety vest, which claims 86% force attenuation and can be reused up to five times. Extendable warranty coverage is promised up to 8,00,000 km.

The biggest highlight is the mix of speed, range and safety technology. Overall, the Ultraviolette X-47 Venom aims to offer a modern electric riding experience with useful features for everyday travel and longer rides.
