TVS Apache RR 200 Bike | Likely to Launch in 2024 | Here’s How the Render Looks Like

TVS is gearing up to potentially launch the Apache RR200, a faired bike designed for enthusiasts seeking a thrilling race track experience. Expected to join the league of entry-level options such as KTM RC200, Pulsar RS200, and Hero Karizma XMR 210, the Apache RR200 is anticipated to bring a dose of racing DNA to the segment.
 

Key Features of TVS Apache RR200:

The bike showcases an aggressive front fascia, front cowl-mounted rearview mirrors, a compact windscreen, a low-set handlebar, a sharp fairing with sporty graphics and decals, a sculpted fuel tank, split seats, and an upswept exhaust. Exciting colour options will be offered, enhancing the visual appeal of the Apache RR200.
 

The tech features include a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster, providing access to race telemetry, lean angle mode, navigation, call/SMS notifications, a crash alert system, and a low fuel alert.
 

Performance & Specifications:

Powered by a 197.75 cc, oil-cooled Fi engine, the Apache RR200 generates 20.82 PS of max power and 17.25 Nm of peak torque. The engine offers different power and torque outputs in Sport, Urban, and Rain modes. The bike is equipped with a 5-speed gearbox, and its top speed is expected to surpass the 127 km/h mark of the RTR 200 4V. 
 

The chassis features a double cradle split synchro stiff frame, and the front suspension may include USD forks, providing an advantage over competitors like the Pulsar RS200 and Hero Karizma. The rear suspension is likely to be a monoshock, and the bike will ride on 17-inch wheels with tubeless radial tires.

Braking setup includes 270 mm and 240 mm petal disc brakes at the front and rear, respectively, with dual-channel ABS as standard. 
 

Racing equipment may include adjustable suspension, adjustable brake and clutch levers, Glide Through Technology (GTT), a slipper clutch, and a double-barrel exhaust.
 

Pricing & Launch Strategy:

TVS aims to position the RR200 at an affordable price point, potentially offering an initial limited-period price lower than rivals. As of now, the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is the most affordable in the segment at Rs 1.72 lakh, while the Hero Karizma XMR starts at Rs 1.80 lakh, and the KTM RC200 begins at Rs 2.18 lakh.
