Triumph Thruxton 400 Introduced, Will Hit the Global Market Soon

Triumph Thruxton has debuted in the top 5 list of bestselling 300cc to 500cc bikes in the country. They decided on this debut after receiving a good response from Triumph to its single-cylinder bikes - Speed 400 & Scrambler 400X. These bikes were introduced globally, including Malaysia, Philippines, Japan & the United Kingdom. Currently, the Triumph is working on a cafe racer version based on the 400cc platform.

Triumph Thruxton 400: Specs & Performance

Triumph Thruxton 400 will be powered by a 398.15 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine, producing 39 bhp & 37.5 Nm torque. In addition, this 398.15 CC engine is also paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Moreover, this beast will be covered with a tubular steel frame with bolt-on rear subframe. Speaking of suspension system, it will be equipped with a braking system comprising 43mm USD front forks & gas monoshock RSU rear suspension. 

Triumph will come with a 300mm front & 230mm rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. It will also feature an analogue speedometer with integrated multi-function LCD screen.  
 

Besides, Cafe racer front cowl makes it different from other 400cc models. It will have rear-set footpegs & low-set handlebar for a committed riding stance.   
 

Triumph Thruxton 400: Key Features

This bike is expected to borrow hardware from the Speed 400, with cafe racer styling inspired by the Thruxton  1200. Speaking of features, Triumph Thruxton 400 will come with a round LED headlight, bar-end mirrors, teardrop fuel tank, upswept exhaust & single-piece seat.

Triumph Thruxton 400: Estimated Launch 

The Triumph Thruxton 400 will be launched globally first before being introduced in India. This bike is likely to be launched in the 1st or 2nd quarter of CY2024.
