Simple Energy has revealed new details about its upcoming Wave electric scooter. The company had earlier used the name ‘Arrive’ for this model, but it will now launch the production version as the Wave. The scooter is scheduled to be launched on September 2, 2026. It will target family buyers who want an affordable electric scooter for daily travel.
The Simple Wave will sit below the Simple One in the company’s range. In addition, Simple Energy plans to focus on customers in tier-2 and tier-3 cities. The company is also expanding its dealership network to reach more buyers across India.

The upcoming electric scooter will get a boxy design with a focus on everyday use. It will feature a larger seat that should offer better comfort for both the rider and pillion. Moreover, the scooter will have a wider floorboard, giving riders more space for carrying daily items.
Perhaps the Wave will appeal to families who want a simple scooter for city travel. However, Simple Energy has not revealed its complete specifications yet, but speculations suggest that it could offer a riding range of around 180 km/charge. Moreover, the expected price is around Rs. 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom).

This Simple Energy Electric Scooter will likely use the same basic platform as the Simple One, but the company will make some changes. It will get a telescopic front fork and twin rear shock absorbers instead of the monoshock setup used on the Simple One.
For braking, the scooter will use a front disc brake and rear drum brake. This setup should provide suitable stopping performance for regular city rides.
Simple Energy will position the Wave as a more affordable option in its electric scooter range. In addition, the company is working to increase its dealership presence in smaller cities.
Currently, Simple Energy has around 75 dealerships and plans to increase this number to 150-200 outlets by the end of this financial year. This expansion could help the brand reach more customers outside major cities.
Once launched, the Simple Wave will compete with affordable family electric scooters such as the Bajaj Chetak C25 and TVS Orbiter. Overall, the new scooter will focus on comfort, space, and everyday usability, while its final price, battery, and range details should be revealed closer to the launch.
