Royal Enfield is preparing to introduce its first electric bike, the Flying Flea C6, in India by April 2026. Recently, test mules were spotted in Chennai without any camouflage, giving the clearest look at the production-ready model. The images show that the bike stays very close to the original concept. Enthusiasts can expect a retro style electric roadster with a relaxed riding posture & modern features, making it suitable for city and short highway rides.

The Flying Flea C6 keeps the concept bike’s signature styling, including a round headlamp and girder front fork. The body design is clean and minimal, with the exposed frame and right side belt drive clearly visible. The pillion seat looks small but removable, as a rider’s backpack intrudes slightly into the space. Moreover, the bike features split grab rails and a centre stand, adding convenience. The upright riding posture supports comfortable daily commuting while keeping the retro roadster feel intact.

Although official specifications are yet to be revealed, the Flying Flea C6 is expected to perform like a 125 to 150cc petrol motorcycle. It will likely have a mid mounted motor with belt drive and disc brakes at both ends with dual channel ABS. The battery may be around 4-5 kWh, delivering a real world range of 100 to 150 km. In addition, the battery will be air cooled with fins on the casing, and may feature an IP67 rated build, possibly using magnesium to reduce weight.
Royal Enfield has confirmed that the Flying Flea C6 is almost production ready, with an India launch expected in April 2026. The rollout will begin in select cities. The second model under the Flying Flea sub brand, the S6 scrambler, is planned for late 2026 around the EICMA show in November. Production of these electric bikes will happen at Royal Enfield’s Cheyyar plant, expanding for EV manufacturing.
