Revolt Motors is the first Indian manufacturer of electric motorcycles, which has achieved a major milestone of supplying 50,000 bikes to consumers. The Haryana based company is a new entry, having launched in August 2019 and targeted entry level petrol motorcycle buyers. It has expanded its products and maintained steady sales despite petrol bike price drops from GST 2.0. This is a milestone of the continued existence of Revolt in a small yet emerging electric motorcycle niche.

As per the Vahan portal data, Revolt Motors has supplied 51, 216 motorcycles in between October 2019 & February 17, 2026. In June 2025, the firm took delivery of its 50,000 th vehicle at the Manesar facility. Revolt sold 11, 019 units in 2025, which was its second best annual sales following 2022. Despite a 53% drop in 2023, the brand rebounded strongly with a 43% sales increase in 2024. In 2025, Revolt was the 11 th of over 250 electric two wheeler manufacturers in India.

In February 2025, Revolt launched the RV BlazeX & this move added a significant growth to the achievement in 2025. This model costs 119,990 and has a 3.24 kWh battery and a 4.1 kW motor. It has the highest speed of 85 kmph with a claimed range of 150km on one charge. Revolt has five year warranty and 75000km product and battery warranty as well. The BlazeX, added to RV1, RV1+, RV400, and RV400 BRZ, helped Revolt recover after two slow years.
Revolt Motors sales of 1,072 units in January and February 2026 demonstrates a negative trend in year to year sales performance. This slowdown is mainly due to GST 2.0 lowering petrol bike prices, widening the cost gap with electric bikes. A lot of customers who had thought about e-motorcycles are now opting to use petrol powered especially in the 150 to 200cc category. Despite a 33% market growth in the first ten months of FY2026, Revolt struggles to maintain its sales.
Revolt benefits from a first mover advantage in India’s e-motorcycle market, but competition is increasing. Other players include Ultraviolette, Ola Electric, Oben EV, and Wardwizard Innovations. Established ICE motorcycle makers like Hero MotoCorp, TVS Motor Co, Bajaj Auto, and Honda are also preparing electric motorcycles for launch. The market remains small compared to scooters, but Revolt’s focus on connectivity, affordability, and range can help it stay competitive in the years ahead.
Revolt currently offers a range of electric motorcycles to meet different buyer needs. The RV1 and RV1+ are entry level bikes targeting daily commuters. The RV BlazeX sits in the mid range segment with higher connectivity features and longer range. Premium buyers can choose the RV400 & RV400 BRZ, which offer improved performance and battery range. This structured lineup allows Revolt to cater to both price conscious & performance oriented riders while maintaining a clear brand identity.
