At its Sankalp 2025 event, Ola Electric unveiled two newly priced electric models. The S1 Pro Plus now starts at Rs 1.70 lakh, and the Roadster X Plus at Rs 1.90 lakh. Both now use Ola’s indigenously manufactured 4680 Bharat Cell battery.
Ola hopes these lower prices will excite buyers ahead of Navratri deliveries, plus it previewed its next-gen OS and a future superbike concept. Let’s look at what these updated models offer and how they might reshape India’s EV scene.
Ola has reduced the S1 Pro Plus price from Rs 1.99 lakh to Rs 1.69 lakh. Moreover, there is an Rs 10,000 extra discount available till August 17 under “Freedom Offer.” It now uses an India-made 4680 Bharat Cell battery to cut costs. The 5.3 kWh variant delivers 320 km range (IDC) and 141 km/h top speed. The 4 kWh variant promises 242 km range and 128 km/h top speed.
The Roadster X Plus now starts at Rs 1.89 lakh, down from Rs 2.25 lakh. The company has provided a Rs 10,000 Sankalp discount on this bike also, which is valid until August 17. It uses the 4680 Bharat Cell battery. With a 9.1 kWh pack, it offers an impressive 501 km range (IDC), 125 km/h top speed, and 11 kW peak power.
Both models showcase Ola’s indigenously developed 4680 Bharat Cell battery. These cells help Ola cut costs and improve supply chain independence. Manufacturing is underway at Ola’s gigafactory in Tamil Nadu.
Bookings are open at Ola stores or the Ola website. Deliveries will commence during Navratri 2025, in the last week of September.
Ola also showed off MoveOS 6, its next-gen operating system launching early 2026. It includes AI features, a voice assistant, safety tools like adaptive cruise control and collision alerts. The company previewed its Diamondhead electric superbike, aimed for mid-2027 at around Rs 5 lakh.
