Ola Electric Leads Two-Wheeler Market: Sold 25,000 EVs in February 2025

Ola Electric has delivered more than 25,000 units in February 2025. This captured 28% of the market share in the EV two-wheeler category. Ola has been growing aggressively, with 4,000 outlets spread all over India. Further, it is experiencing high demand in Tier 3 and Tier 4 cities.

The firm is also going to start delivering the Ola Roadster X in March, continuing its strengthening in the EV segment. Besides, Ola has rolled out new models and software updates, making its scooters even more sophisticated and easier to use.

Ola Electric has maintained its leadership in the EV two-wheeler market. Selling over 25,000 scooters in February is a big achievement. This success comes from its wide range of scooters that cater to both budget and premium buyers.

Ola Roadster X Deliveries Begin in March

Temporary Registration Issues Due to Contract Changes

In February, Ola Electric faced a temporary dip in registrations due to contract renegotiations. The company said that its discussions with vehicle registration agencies affected numbers on the VAHAN portal.

However, Ola clarified that the negotiations were done to reduce costs and simplify the registration process. This will ultimately benefit customers by making EV buying easier and more affordable.

Ola Electric has launched its latest Gen-3 scooter portfolio with updated models and features. The prices start at Rs 79,999 for the S1 X (2kWh) and go up to Rs 1,69,999 for the S1 Pro+ (5.3kWh).

These new models come with improved battery performance, better efficiency, and smart features. Ola continues to push boundaries in the EV space, making its scooters more appealing to Indian buyers.
