Ola Electric Launching 6 New Two Wheelers In India NEXT Month

Ola Electric is all set to take the Indian EV community by storm with its upcoming 6 New Two Wheelers launches next month. The company’s plans include 5 bikes and 1 scooter for the upcoming month. The grand event on August 15, 2023, will mark the launch of these new electric vehicles in India.

There is a huge significance of Independence Day for Ola as it launched the S1 Electric Scooter previously on this day. The Bengaluru-based company also has plans to launch Electric Cars in the future and multiple zero-emission vehicles.

Ola is set to debut new models on August 15, 2023, and insiders claim new EVs will be unveiled in a spectacular ceremony. Furthermore, Ola might introduce new bikes since Bhavish Aggarwal, Chief Executive Officer of Ola Electric, is aggressively teasing motorcycles on his Twitter handle. The bike was recently sighted on a track during testing too.

About the Electric Bikes Ola Plans to Launch

Ola hinted as many as 5 motorcycles in February 2023, some of which might be shown in production form during the event. Currently, Ola is working on various new bikes in various categories, including a commuter, an adventure tourer, a cruiser, a sports bike, and a neo-retro model that are teased in a concept form.

Ola is more likely to enter the premium motorcycle space with its upcoming range of electric models. It could accompany the launch of a brand-new scooter next month. It will give customers more options as the brand seeks to expand its footprint to meet the needs of its diverse audience.

A Look At The Iconic Ola S1

The S1 range received updates by introducing a 2 kWh battery pack claiming to offer a range of 91 km. Additionally, the S1 has an 8.5 kW electric motor by which it can achieve a top speed of 90 kmph.

Furthermore, there is a top-spec variant available with a 3 kW battery. This higher-capacity battery enables a longer range of 141 km on a full charge. These updates indicate improvements in the range and performance capabilities of the S1 range, making it more appealing for electric vehicle enthusiasts.

The Ola S1 range is currently the best-selling electric scooter in the country. The top-of-the-line S1 Pro variant has a 4 kWh battery pack helping with a claimed range of 181 km with a top speed of 116 kmph.
