India’s electric two-wheeler (2W EV) market saw 97,399 units sold in December 2025, according to the Vahan Dashboard (excluding Telangana). While overall volumes moderated, the top players retained their dominance, showing stability at the top of the market.
TVS Motor Company emerged as the clear market leader, selling 25,037 units and capturing a 25.71% market share. Moreover, Bajaj Auto followed in second place with 18,798 units, accounting for 19.3% of total sales. Ather Energy remained close behind, recording 17,058 units and a 17.51% share.
Together, these top three brands controlled over 62% of the market, highlighting the importance of strong distribution networks, brand trust, and product portfolios.
Hero MotoCorp’s VIDA brand secured the fourth position with 10,703 units, translating to a 10.99% share. Ola Electric sold 9,021 units, achieving a 9.26% market share, continuing to apply pressure in the mid-table segment.
Greaves Electric Mobility reported 4,751 units (4.88%), while BG sold 2,188 units (2.25%) and River recorded 1,796 units (1.84%). Furthermore, the combined “Others” category accounted for 8,047 units, or 8.26% of total sales, indicating a long tail of smaller and emerging EV players in the ecosystem.
