Honda Opens EV Store in Bengaluru, Launches Budget BaaS Plan

Honda has started its first electric scooter concept store in Bengaluru. The brand has also launched a new budget-friendly battery plan for the Activa e:. This new plan costs just Rs. 678 per month and helps make electric scooters easier to afford. The EV store is located inside Mantri Square Mall in Malleshwaram.

What is Honda’s EV Concept Store?

Honda’s new store in Bengaluru is a special place to show their electric scooter journey. It teaches people about battery swapping and scooter features using screens, displays, and live demos. The store in Bengaluru is made for all age groups, with areas for learning, fun, and trying out new ideas.

A Store Designed for Interactive Learning

The new concept store uses a large LED wall to tell Honda’s electrification story through moving visuals. Visitors can explore a history section that shows major company milestones and past achievements. Next, the product area displays the Activa e: and QC1 scooters alongside engineering exhibits explaining PMS motors, hub motors, and Honda’s Mobile Power Pack technology. Live demonstrations of the Power Pack Exchanger e: allow guests to watch battery swaps in real time.

Kid-Friendly and Future-Focused Zones

A special children’s corner combines fun games with simple lessons about clean transport. Meanwhile, a separate display highlights Honda’s broader innovations, including a scale model of the Honda Jet, the eGX racing go-kart, and the foldable Moto Compacto scooter. The Moto Compacto weighs only 19 kg, offers a 20 km range, and reaches 24 km/h, ideal for short urban trips.

Activa e: Specs and Subscription Options

The Activa e: runs on two 3 kWh swappable batteries and claims a certified range of 102 km per charge. For energy refills, riders can use Honda’s growing network of Power Pack Exchanger e: stations. Besides the new Lite plan, Honda continues to offer two higher-capacity subscriptions: the Basic plan at Rs. 1,999 per month for 35 kWh, and the Advance plan at Rs. 3,599 per month for 87 kWh. These tiers help riders choose energy packages that match their travel patterns.

By launching an engaging store and a lower-cost energy plan, Honda aims to bring more Indian commuters into the electric era while keeping ownership simple and affordable.
