Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced a new special variant of its popular scooter, the Honda Dio 125 X-Edition. This new edition focuses mainly on visual upgrades, aiming to attract young riders who prefer a bold and sporty design. Moreover, it continues with the same mechanical setup as the existing top-end variant. Let’s know more about this upcoming scooter in detail.

The biggest highlight of the Dio 125 X-Edition is its new dual-tone colour scheme. Honda has added Pearl Siren Blue and Pearl Deep Ground Gray shades, which together give the scooter a sharper and more aggressive look. In addition, contrasting elements on the front apron, side panels, running board, and grab rails make the design stand out.
Perhaps the most eye-catching detail is the brightly coloured alloy wheels, finished in red or orange tones depending on references. These wheels add a strong visual contrast and instantly draw attention. Updated graphics and X-Edition decals further separate this version from the regular Dio 125 models.

In terms of features, the scooter remains unchanged in terms of features. The Dio 125 X-Edition is based on the H-Smart variant, which already offers modern equipment. It comes with a TFT digital display that supports smartphone connectivity for call alerts, message notifications, and turn-by-turn navigation.
In addition, the scooter includes a USB-C charging port, idle stop-start system, a side-stand engine cut-off, and smart key features. These additions make it suitable for daily city use while keeping convenience in mind.
The Dio 125 X-Edition has the known 123.92 c air-cooled engine. It generates approximately 8.1bph and 10.5 Nm of torque which is smooth and reliable in its performance. There is no change in engine setup, fuel consumption and transmission.
The scooter has a front disc brake and rear drum brake, telescopic front fork and rear adjustable suspension. It has comfortable seating, good ground clearance and a 5.3 litre fuel tank capacity in terms of size.
The cost has not been officially declared by Honda. But it will cost almost the same as the Dio 125 H-Smart that will be in the range of Rs 92000 to Rs 93500 (ex-showroom).
