Hero has introduced the new Vida VX2 Plus 4.4kWh variant in India at a price of Rs. 1,50,990 (ex-showroom). This new version focuses on improving daily usability with a larger battery pack. Because of this, the claimed range now goes up to 187 km (IDC), which makes it more suitable for longer city rides.
In addition, the company plans to make this variant available in showrooms by the end of July 2026. This gives buyers another option if they want more range without changing their riding habits.

The new 4.4kWh battery setup includes two removable 2.2kWh battery packs. This design makes charging more flexible, as you can remove and charge them separately if needed. Moreover, the bigger battery helps reduce range anxiety, especially for daily commuters.
Hero has also improved the charging speed. The Vida electric scooter now comes with a 1kW portable charger as standard. However, the older 3.4kWh variant uses a 580W charger. Because of this upgrade, the new model charges faster. It takes around 3 hours and 17 minutes to reach 80%, and about 5 hours and 8 minutes for a full charge.
The Vida VX2 Plus continues to use the same 6kW motor. However, it now offers a slightly higher top speed of 90 kmph. This makes it better for quick city rides and occasional longer stretches.
In addition, the scooter comes with four riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport, along with a Boost mode. These modes help you adjust performance based on your riding needs.
Apart from the battery upgrade, the electric scooter remains mostly unchanged. It keeps the same design, motor setup, and overall riding feel. However, the added range and faster charging make a noticeable difference in daily use.
The Hero Vida VX2 Plus 4.4kWh variant brings a practical upgrade with its bigger battery and faster charging. If you want an electric scooter with better range and flexible charging, this new version could be a smart choice.
