Hero MotoCorp has launched a new Hero Vida VX2 Go FB variant in India at Rs. 1.13 lakh (ex-showroom). The biggest change is its 3.1kWh fixed battery pack, making it different from the existing removable battery versions. In addition, deliveries of the new electric scooter will begin in August 2026 across the country.
The Vida VX2 Go FB comes with a 3.1kWh fixed battery that charges through a regular charging socket. However, buyers can also use a DC fast charger, which charges the battery from 0 to 80% in just 65 minutes.
Moreover, Hero claims the scooter delivers a riding range of 128 km on a full charge. This is an improvement over the standard Vida VX2 Go, which offers a claimed range of 93 km with its 2.2kWh battery.
The new scooter uses a 6kW electric motor and offers a claimed top speed of 70 kmph. In addition, it gets a 4.3 inch LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity and turn by turn navigation.
Perhaps the new fixed battery option will suit riders who prefer charging their scooter at home without swapping batteries. The Vida VX2 Go FB also offers 27.2 litres of underseat storage, making it suitable for everyday commuting while providing extra practicality.
