Hero Discontinues Its Passion Pro Motorcycle

Hero has now removed its popular Passion Pro Motorcycle from its website. The bike's standard trim is discontinued, while the Passion Pro Xtec variant is still on sale in the market.

Hero MotoCorp introduced the Hero Passion Pro Xtec variant as an upgrade to the popular Hero Passion Pro motorcycle. 

Design and Features of the Xtec Variant

The Xtec variant appeals to the tech-savvy generation with modern features and improvements. It has several modern technology features, including a fully digital instrument cluster and LED lighting. Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone integration is an added feature of the bike.

The Hero Passion Pro Xtec variant offers updates in features and design elements. However, the mechanical specification of the motorcycle remains the same as the discontinued standard variant. It means that the motorcycle's engine, chassis, and other fundamental components are retained. 

Prices and Variants of Hero Passion Pro Xtec

The Hero Passion Pro Xtec is available in Drum and Disc variants. The ex-showroom Delhi prices for the Xtec variants are Rs. 80,038 for the Drum variant and Rs 84,438 for the Disc variant. Moreover, the Passion Pro Xtec retains the stylish design language of the original Passion Pro, which was popular among customers. The Hero Passion Pro Xtec also maintains its reputation for fuel efficiency, providing an economical commuting option for riders.

Hero MotoCorp wants to serve a broader range of customers by introducing the Xtec variant with enhanced features and higher prices. Discontinuing the standard variant will affect Hero a little, as they already have the more feature-packed Xtec variant. The Subvariant will ensure flexibility to the buyer depending upon the budget and requirements.
