Harley Davidson X440 Started To Arrive At Dealerships In India

The recently launched Harley-Davidson XX40 is the most affordable model offered by the company. This bike comes in three variants: Denim, Vivid, and S. The Denim model is the cheapest on the list and comes with wire-spoke wheels. In addition, the bike has a Vivid trim level, alloy wheels and dual-tone paint.

The top S model in Harley Davidson X440 has premium features like diamond-cut alloy wheels. It also features full connectivity options via the Harley-Davidson app and 3D logos. The top model now has turn-by-turn navigation to the Bluetooth module.

Design and Styling of Harley Davidson X440

The styling cues across the range have round headlights with integrated branding, single-pod instrument clusters, flat handlebars, and side-slung exhausts. It contains features commonly found in Harley-Davidson motorcycles, such as machined alloy wheels and retro-style round indicators. The bike's design often represents the brand's classic and iconic styling. The Harley-Davidson X440 features a trellis frame, which is a lightweight and rigid frame design. 

Mechanical Specifications of Harley Davidson X440

The mechanical specifications are the same across all its variants. This new Harley-Davidson X440 is powered by 440cc, single-cylinder, oil, and air-cool engine with a two-valve setup. This engine produces a 27 bhp of maximum power output at 6,000 rpm and 38 Nm of peak torque at 4,000 rpm. 

Suspension and Braking of Harley Davidson X440

The suspension setup consists of 43mm upside-down front forks and gas-charge, preload-adjustable twin rear shocks. Moreover, the X440 consists of single-disc brakes on both wheels. In fact, the setup and the inclusion of dual-channel ABS enhance the braking performance and safety of this motorcycle. In addition, it has a side-stand engine cut-off function as a safety feature.

Competition and Pricing of Harley Davidson X440

The X440 competes with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Triumph Speed 400 in the Indian market. The price of the bike ranges between Rs.2.29-Rs. 2.69 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
