Gogoro Electric Scooters to Hit Indian Markets Today

Just a few days ago, we brought you the exclusive news that Gogoro is planning to launch a few of its electric scooters in the Indian market on 12th December. 
 

While we are yet to receive any further information about the models that are set to be showcased & launched, there is a chance that it could be one of the CrossOver models that was unveiled in October. This electric scooter is claimed to have both on-road and off-roading abilities. 
 

The showcased Gogoro CrossOver sports a sharp & aggressive design with a huge floorboard, crash guards & large body panels. However, the most interesting part of CrossOver is its pillion seat that can be folded to turn into a pillion’s backrest and add more space for luggage. Furthermore, the added luggage carrying rack at the front and dual headlamp, gives an extra edge to this scooter.
 

As for the mechanics, the Gogoro CrossOver is powered by a responsive 7.5 kW electric motor with swappable batteries, offering a combined capacity of 1.6 kWh. The company claimed that it can cover up to 100 km on a single charge, which is highly impressive. Besides, the scooter rolls on 12-inch wheels with Maxxis dual-purpose tyres, both front & rear with a long-travel suspension.
