FADA Sales Report November 2023 Reveals Impressive 2-Wheeler 21.08% MoM & 49.05% YoY RISE!

FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations) has released its November 2023 sales report that showcased a YoY increase of 21.08%  and an MoM rise of 49.05%.  
 

In November 2023, the industry clocked in a total sales volume of 22,47,366 units, whereas in November 2022, the industry saw sales of 18,56,108 units. This resulted in a 21.08% increase in terms of YoY growth and a 49.05% increase in terms of MoM growth when compared to October 2023 sales figures, which were 15,07,756 units.

Top 3 OEMs With Highest 2-Wheeler Sales Figures & Market Share  

Hero MotoCorp LTD, yet again, took the crown of selling the highest number of 2-wheelers in November 2023. The manufacturer reported a total sales volume of 8,02,234 units last month. However, as compared to last year’s same month, the company sold 6,37,534 units, translating into a YOY sales rise of 25.83%. The company also experienced a rise in its market share by 3.93%.  
 

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India took the next spot, right after Hero MotoCorp. The company experienced a total sales unit of 5,12,865 in November 2023, leading to a minor 10.74% rise in its YoY sales growth when compared to 4,63,145 sales numbers registered in November 2022. In terms of market share, the company experienced a major fall of 8.54%. 
 

TVS Motor Company Ltd took the 3rd position, registering a total sales unit of 3,65,295 in November 2023, marking a decent YoY growth of 34.34% when compared to sales figures of November 2022, which was 2,71,925. Subsequently, the company also experienced an increase in its market share by 10.95% in November 2023.
 

Top 3 ELECTRIC Manufacturers With Highest 2-Wheeler Sales Figures & Market Share

In November 2023, Ola Electric, as usual, took the first position in the electric two-wheeler market for selling the highest number of EVs. The company reported total sales figures of 29,808 in November 2023, marking a decent growth of 81.92% when compared to November 2022 sales figures of 16,385. Moreover, the company also gained a market share rise of 50.25%.  
 

Ather Energy Pvt Ltd took the next position after Ola Electric by selling 9,171 units in November 2023. For comparison, the company registered sales of 7,839 units in November 2022, reporting a small growth of 16.99%. However, on the market share front, the company experienced a minor dip of 3.38% this month.
 

Last but not least, the third position on the list is held by Greaves Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd for the month of November 2023. The company clocked in a total sales unit of 4,411 in November 2023, as compared to 189 units sold in November 2022. Due to this, the company saw a massive growth of 2233.86% this month. Apart from this, the company also experienced an impressive rise in its market share by 1827.55% for November 2023.
