Ducati has officially launched the Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak in India at Rs 36.16 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries have started, which makes this one of the most premium and advanced sport-touring bikes available right now.
The Pikes Peak version focuses more on road performance and precise handling than off-road adventure. It comes with forged 17-inch rims and a MotoGP-inspired livery, giving it a pure racing character.

The bike is fitted with a 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine that produces 168bhp at 10,750rpm and 123.8 Nm at 9,000rpm. It’s Euro 5+ compliant and E20 fuel-ready, which makes it future-friendly.
In addition, Ducati has added a Race riding mode, a sharper quickshifter, and a more direct throttle in High Power mode. The rear-bank deactivation system also works at low speeds to reduce heat and improve fuel efficiency.
Moreover, the service intervals are very impressive: oil changes every 15,000km and valve checks every 60,000km.
The light aluminium monocoque frame has been tuned for quicker steering without losing balance. Ducati has also raised the swingarm pivot by 1mm for better traction and cleaner acceleration.
The Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 electronic suspension adjusts automatically, firm when you ride hard, soft when you cruise. The motorcycle has Brembo Stylema monobloc calipers with 330mm front discs and a 280mm rear disc. It rides on Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tyres (120/70 front and 190/55 rear), which are perfect for road use.
The bike includes a six-axis IMU and Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) that control traction, wheelie, cornering ABS, and slide functions. It also comes with radar-based features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, and Forward Collision Warning, which are very useful for long Indian highway rides. There’s a 6.5-inch TFT display that shows all riding modes: Race, Sport, Touring, Urban, and Wet.
The Pikes Peak gets lower, narrower handlebars and higher footpegs, offering a sportier riding position. It also comes with carbon-fibre panels and a factory-fitted Akrapovič titanium exhaust.
Other highlights include cornering lights, hands-free ignition, quickshifter (up/down), engine brake control, Ducati Power Launch, and smartphone connectivity for data logging.
