CF Moto is working on a retro-style compact mini bike

CF Moto is working on a pint-sized retro bike. This bike will likely be based on the Papio, which competes with the Honda Grom in the European market.

According to leaked approval documents, the Papio XO-1, based on the standard model. However, it gets the same chassis along with a similar engine. Further, the engine displacement is 126cc, and in addition, it is a single-cylinder air-cooled engine. Moreover, the suspension equipment provided on this bike is very new, unlike other models. The overall styling of this bike makes it look cool and inspiring.

Regarding bike parts, the CFMoto gets an upside-down fork adjusted in the front. Further, it has an old-school design with two round headlights, whereas the company tried to provide a modern touch. The seat seemed broad and comfortable, but the pillion seat kept a little higher than usual. Since the pillion seat has a notable height, the footrest at the back feels odd. Regarding ride comfort, the overall seating posture and ergonomics look aggressive. Additionally, the low clip-on handlebar and rear-mounted foot pegs give the bike a more aggressive look.

This CF Moto bike will likely make its official debut later this year. Since it comes with a small 126cc engine, it won't be available in India. There is no market for such a premium subcompact motorcycle in the country. But, in the future, if the company comes with a 200cc variant, that could work in India.
