Bookings of Matter Aera Electric Bike to Begin From May 17

The Matter Aera will be Available across 25 cities in India!

Matter Energy, an Indian electric mobility start-up, made an announcement of bookings of its first electric motorcycle, Aera. The booking will open on May 17 across 25 cities across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Hyderabad, Guwahati, Bhubaneswar and more. The Matter Aera will be available in two variants, 5000 and 5000+. Customers can book the Matter Aera Models from the Company’s Website and Flipkart.

Price and Variants of Matter Aera 

The 5000 variant of Matter Aera is priced at Rs. 1.44 lakh. While the 5000+ variant that possesses higher specifications is priced at Rs. 1.54 lakh. These prices are ex-showroom, India, and include the FAME-II subsidy but exclude state subsidies.

The Matter Aera comes with a gearbox and is available in two variants - 5000 and 5000+. Both variants have a 5kWh liquid-cool battery pack, which provides a range of 125km. The liquid-cooled motor on the Aera is rated for a claimed peak power output of 10.5kW.

There is an inclusion of a 5-amp onboard charging system on the Electric Bike. It conveniently allows the riders to charge their devices directly without the need for any additional charging equipment.

The connectivity features of the Aera are also noteworthy. The presence of internet connectivity, navigation support, music playback, and call functions accessible through a 7-inch touchscreen display can enhance the overall riding experience. These features provide riders with information, entertainment options, and communication capabilities, adding convenience and connectivity while on the road.

It seems like Matter has aimed to offer a well-rounded package with the Aera, combining electric propulsion with modern connectivity features.
