BMW S 1000 R 2025 Model Debuts in India with Updates

BMW Motorrad India has launched the updated 2025 S 1000 R in India with a starting price of Rs. 19 Lakh, ex-showroom. The new version brings changes to performance, design, and features. Hence, BMW aims to strengthen its position in India’s premium motorcycle market by offering better speed, styling, and advanced technology.

Engine and Performance Updates

 
The 2025 BMW S 1000 R comes with a 999cc, liquid-cooled engine generating 165 bhp and 114 Nm of torque. The company claims the bike accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds, while its top speed is limited to 200 km/h. Moreover, the final-drive ratio has been revised to improve acceleration, offering sharper and more responsive performance.

Features and Technology

The motorcycle gets Headlight Pro with daytime running lights, M Quick Action throttle, ABS Pro, Dynamic Traction Control, and riding modes. In addition to that, a 6.5-inch TFT display provides connectivity and navigation support. BMW has also included its intelligent emergency call feature E-Call. It has a USB charging socket along with the LED lights to make riding easy. 

Design and Styling

The S 1000 R has an aggressive design, highlighted by its sharp tank extensions, muscular fuel tank, and exposed subframe. The overall styling maintains a sporty appearance that complements the bike’s strong performance profile.

Optional Packages and Colour Options

Riders can choose optional packages such as Dynamic, Comfort, and M Sport. These offer features like cruise control, heated grips, forged wheels, M lightweight battery, and a shift assistant. Moreover, the bike comes in three colour options Blackstorm Metallic, Lightwhite Uni/M Motorsport and Sport with the M package.
