
BMW Motorrad has launched the 2026 M 1000 R in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 33.50 lakh. The streetfighter arrives via the CBU route and brings several visual and electronic upgrades. The new model focuses on track level performance while remaining road friendly. Along with sharper styling, advanced electronics, & the expanded M Competition package, the bike aims to attract enthusiasts who want both style and performance.

The BMW M 1000 R is priced at Rs. 33.50 lakh (ex-showroom) & features a dual flow LED headlight. Its signature M winglets increase front load by 11kg at 220 kmph. The bike is available in three colors and comes with updated Dynamic Traction Control and an M quick action throttle. The M Competition package adds M Carbon wheels, carbon fiber panels, adjustable rearset footrests, and an M GPS Laptimer. Pre-bookings have started, and deliveries are expected from May 2026.

The BMW M 1000 R features a new dual flow LED headlight, giving it a more aggressive front appearance. Moreover, the bike comes with signature M winglets, which BMW claims increase front wheel load by up to 11kg at speeds of 220 kmph. The motorcycle is available in three colors: Light White/M Motorsport for the base variant, White Aluminium Metallic Matte for both base and M Competition Package, and Blackstorm Metallic/M Motorsport exclusively for the M Competition Package.
The new M 1000 R includes an updated Dynamic Traction Control system derived from BMW’s RR models. This system improves intervention accuracy, particularly in Race mode. In addition, the bike features an M quick action throttle that allows smoother roll on acceleration with less wrist effort. These upgrades enhance performance and control for riders who prefer aggressive riding on both road and track.
BMW has expanded the M Competition package with several premium additions. The package now includes M Carbon wheels, carbon fiber panels, adjustable milled rearset footrests, and an M GPS Laptimer. Therefore, riders can enjoy a more personalized and track focused riding experience. The package highlights BMW’s focus on combining style, technology, & performance in a single streetfighter.
