
BMW F 450 GS has been launched in India with starting price of Rs 4.70 lakh for base variant. The motorcycle replaces the G 310 GS and comes assembled in India by TVS Motor Company. It uses a 420cc parallel twin engine producing 48 bhp, paired with a six speed gearbox system for highway touring. Moreover, the bike targets riders seeking touring ability, modern electronics, and support for varied riding conditions and terrain.

BMW has introduced the F 450 GS in three variants for different riding preferences across markets. Base variant starts at Rs 4.70 lakh while top GS Trophy reaches Rs 5.30 lakh ex-showroom. Exclusive trim is positioned between both variants to balance features and pricing structure effectively for India buyers.

The motorcycle comes with a 420cc liquid cooled parallel twin engine delivering 48 bhp power output and strong mid range response. It generates 43Nm torque and connects to a six speed gearbox for smooth highway cruising performance. Hence, BMW designed it for both city rides and long distance touring capability on varied roads.
The motorcycle comes with full LED lighting, riding modes and a 6.5 inch TFT screen. Further, cornering ABS, traction control and Dynamic Brake Control provide safety during cornering, acceleration and deceleration. Further, the mid and top trims feature bi-directional quickshifters and adjustable suspension for smooth riding on different surfaces. The 6.5 inch TFT display unit provides Bluetooth connectivity for navigation and access of ride information and phone calls.
