Bike Enthusiasts Await Bajaj-Triumph’s Delayed Launch, Year-End Reveal

The long-awaited launch of one of the first products from the Bajaj-Triumph partnership is expected to happen later this year. The launch is scheduled  after facing almost a year of delay. This is the latest news from the famous alliance of the two motorcycle brands.

The report reveals that some design changes have caused the delay in the launch of the bikes. Unfortunately, the information does not specify the changes the Triumph bikes have undergone. 

However, the spy shots show that both companies have prepared a range of motorcycles. These bikes are speculated to have 250 cc and 400 cc engines. It is anticipated that the engine may have been sourced from KTM’s existing line-up.

A modern retro and a scrambler are the two Triumph versions that have been seen. This scenario indicates that these bikes may be among the first to launch globally. Furthermore, there may be more bikes from the family to follow. 

However, the order of launch for the Indian market is still unclear. It is yet to be seen whether it will be the 250 cc versions or the 400s. The latter models may be mainly aimed at European markets. On the other hand, the 250 cc makes more sense for the Indian market due to the price points.

The global debut of these bikes is likely to happen before the 2023 EICMA. After the unveiling, the production will start at Bajaj’s Chakan plant, and the launch in India will follow later in the year. As a result, the global markets may get these bikes in showrooms in early 2024.
