BGauss Electric Scooter Sales Cross 32,000 Units in 2026, Near 1 Lakh Overall

BGauss Auto is heading towards its best ever sales year, with its total retail sales now close to the 1 lakh unit mark. The electric scooter maker has sold 91,373 units since launching in August 2022.

BGauss sold 5,560 electric scooters in July 2026, its highest monthly sales figure so far. However, sales stood at 5,045 units in August. In addition, the company sold 10,605 scooters across these two months. 

Its total sales for 2026 have already reached 32,627 units. Perhaps, if the current sales pace continues, BGauss could sell around 46,000 to 47,000 electric scooters by the end of the year.

C12 MaxR Adds a Premium Option

The BGauss C12 MaxR is the brand’s most expensive scooter and costs Rs 1.60 lakh (ex showroom). It gets a 4.2kW hub motor and a claimed top speed of 75 kmph. Moreover, the scooter offers Eco, Ride and Sport modes, along with reverse mode and cruise control. Its 3.8kWh LFP battery claims an IDC range of 178 km.

However, BGauss currently has no scooter below Rs 1 lakh. Its portfolio includes the RUV 350, Oowah, C12 Max and C12 MaxR. Therefore, the brand may need a more affordable model to reach a wider group of buyers.

With its current sales pace, BGauss could record its highest annual sales in 2026. However, crossing 7,000 units every month could help the company move higher in the electric two wheeler market.
