Bajaj Auto Sells 4.43 Lakh Two-Wheelers in August 2026, Exports Jump 53%

Bajaj Auto reported a strong 30% year-on-year (YoY) growth in total two-wheeler sales in August 2026. The company sold 4,43,748 units, compared to 3,41,887 units in August 2025. The growth came from both the domestic and export markets, with exports showing a stronger rise.

In August 2026, Bajaj’s domestic two-wheeler sales increased by 10%, reaching 2,01,898 units compared to 1,84,109 units in August 2025. This growth shows steady demand for Bajaj motorcycles in the Indian market.

Meanwhile, exports remained the main growth driver for the company. Bajaj exported 2,41,850 units in August 2026, compared to 1,57,778 units in the same month last year. This marks a strong 53% YoY growth.

Overall, Bajaj Auto sold 4,43,748 two-wheelers in August 2026. Therefore, the company recorded a healthy 30% increase in total sales compared to August 2025.

Strong Export Growth Supports Performance

Bajaj Auto’s export business continued to play an important role in its overall sales growth. The company recorded more than 2.4 lakh export sales in August 2026, helping offset the comparatively slower growth in the domestic market.

On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, Bajaj Auto also maintained strong growth from April to August 2026. Domestic sales increased by 12%, with 9,54,192 units sold compared to 8,52,732 units in the same period last year.

Exports recorded a much stronger 50% growth, reaching 11,00,827 units compared to 7,34,193 units in April to August 2025. In addition, total YTD sales stood at 20,55,019 units, showing a 29% increase over 15,86,925 units last year.

Overall, Bajaj Auto delivered a strong sales performance in August 2026. Both domestic and export sales grew, while the 53% rise in exports provided a major boost to the company's overall performance. Perhaps continued international demand could help Bajaj maintain this growth momentum in the coming months.
