Bajaj Dominar 400 & Dominar 250 To Be Launch Soon: Know What’s New?

Bajaj is planning to update the Dominar series, which includes the Bajaj Dominar 400 and the Bajaj Dominar 250. This was confirmed by Rakesh Sharma, the Executive Director of Bajaj Auto, during the launch of the Pulsar NS400Z.

The updated Dominar range might launch the market around mid-2025. The new Dominar 400 price is expected to be around Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 more, while the Dominar 250 could see a hike of Rs 3,000 to Rs 5,000. Also, the company has introduced many new features that we hadn't seen before on a Bajaj bike. So, the manufacturer will likely bring the same features to the Dominar range.

As for competition, the Dominar 400 goes against the Triumph Speed 400, Royal Enfield Meteor 350, and Honda CB350RS. The Dominar 250 competes with the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, and KTM 250 Duke.

Expected New Features in Bajaj Dominar 400 & Dominar 250

The new Bajaj Dominar 400 might come with a new digital screen showing directions and connecting with smartphones. It could also have advanced features like different riding modes and safety measures like traction control and ABS. They might even add basic cruise control for better long-distance riding.

The smaller Dominar 250 may also get a new screen with navigation features. Both bikes are expected to come in new colors and designs. Furthermore, Bajaj might add features specific to the Dominar's sporty touring style, such as traction control and ABS modes.

We might also see new digital screens on both bikes, with the Dominar 400 possibly getting a fancier TFT display and the 250 a simpler LCD one. They'll likely connect to smartphones for navigation and alerts.

Bajaj Dominar 400 & Dominar 250 Specifications

Apart from these updates, the Dominar 400 and Dominar 250 are expected to stay the same. The Dominar 400 will keep its 373.3cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 40PS and 35Nm of torque. On the other hand, Dominar 250 will also retain its 248.77cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 27PS and 23.5Nm of torque.

Moreover, both Bajaj motorcycles come with disc brakes and dual-channel ABS. Also, their wheel sizes are the same, including Front:-431.8 mm and Rear:-431.8 mm.
