Ather Energy has increased the price of its family focused electric scooter, the Rizta. The new prices came into effect from 1 June 2026. The company has made a small price change across all variants.
The entry-level S variant with the smaller 2.9kWh battery now costs Rs. 3,000 more. However, the higher Z variants and the S variant with the bigger 3.7kWh battery have become Rs. 4,000 more expensive.
Here are the updated ex-showroom prices of Ather Rizta variants:
Ather has not officially confirmed the reason. However, rising raw material and production costs perhaps led to this increase. In addition, many other brands have also raised prices recently for similar reasons.
The Rizta continues to offer practical performance. The 2.9kWh battery gives a true range of 105 km. On the other hand, the 3.7kWh battery offers a higher range of 125 km.
In addition, Ather provides a standard warranty of five years or 60,000 km on the battery. The battery pack also comes with an IP67 rating, which means it can handle dust and water exposure.

The Rizta offers many useful features for daily riding. The Z variant gets a 7-inch colour TFT display with Bluetooth and navigation. However, the S variant comes with a simpler DeepView LCD display.
The scooter offers two ride modes: Smart Eco and Zip. It can reach a top speed of 80 kmph. In addition, it includes features like auto hold, reverse mode, and Magic Twist. This feature helps slow down the scooter using regenerative braking without using the brakes.
