5 Things Not to Miss About Yezdi & Jawa Lineup 2023

The 2023 models of Yezdi and Jawa motorcycles have undergone some notable changes regarding their update. These changes aim to improve the motorcycles' performance, handling, and overall riding experience. Here we will discuss some of the updates that the motorcycle gets.

OBD2 Emission Norms Update in Jawa and Yezdi Models

Two-wheeler manufacturer Jawa-Yezdi has updated its entire lineup in India as per the new BS-VI Stage 2 (OBD2) emission norms. Along with this, the company has also updated its motorcycles for better riding experience. There is no change in the peak output of the bike.

Engine updates in Jawa and Yezdi Models

There is a change in the Engines of both the Jawa and Yezdi models of bike, as they reworked the engine to improve NVH levels. With, All these updates, it will get a large throttle body, exhaust ports, and engine mapping is also revised. These updates will make the bike more refined and quieter.

Feature Updates in Jawa and Yezdi Models

The Jawa 42 now includes an assist and slip clutch, preventing the rear wheel from locking up or hopping while downshifting harshly. Furthermore, the pull on the lever should be lighter now. The Jawa 42 also features revised exhaust mufflers for an improved tone. A digital LCD dashboard replaces the 42's outdated analogue display, and the bike comes with a danger light switch as standard.  

Redesigned Exhaust Mufflers

The entire Yezdi model range now features redesigned exhaust mufflers similar to the Jawa 42. Additionally, all three Yezdi models (Roadking, CLII, and Monarch) now come with a larger rear sprocket. This change should improve the bottom-end drive and make the bikes more tractable, especially in stop-and-go city traffic. These updates should make the Yezdi lineup more appealing to riders who value low-end torque and city riding comfort.

Rise in Prices of Jawa and Yezdi Models

With the new update, the company has increased the prices of its entire lineup. This increase in prices has been kept at less than 2 per cent. Let's see how much is the new price of which model.
