2026 Suzuki Burgman Street Arrives with New Features & Updated Performance

Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the 2026 Burgman Street with several upgrades across design and features. The scooter keeps its maxi-style look but adds cleaner detailing and a more premium finish. In addition, the new LED headlight setup now looks sharper with integrated position lights.

The company has also added compact LED indicators and a redesigned tail-lamp for a refreshed rear profile. There’s also a dark smoked windscreen and stylish upswept exhaust that further improve its road presence. Perhaps these small updates together create a more refined and appealing design.

Variants, Pricing & What Buyers Can Expect

The 2026 Burgman Street comes in two main variants with different feature sets. The Ride Connect Edition starts at Rs. 1.01 lakh, while the TFT Edition costs Rs. 1.13 lakh. However, Suzuki continues selling the Burgman Street EX at Rs. 1.08 lakh for buyers who prefer the earlier version.

The top variant includes a 4.2-inch TFT display with navigation support through a mobile app. In addition, it offers a keyless system with a remote fob for easier access and control.

Comfort & Practicality See Meaningful Improvements

Suzuki has focused on everyday usability by improving comfort and storage. The scooter still offers a long and wide footboard for a relaxed riding posture. Moreover, the seat remains spacious for both rider and pillion.

One of the key upgrades is the larger underseat storage, which now holds up to 24.6 litres. This space can fit a full-face helmet, making daily commuting more convenient. The scooter also includes front storage pockets, a USB charger, and dual utility hooks.

Engine & Performance Feel Smoother Than Before

The Burgman Street is carried on with a 124cc air-cooled engine to offer efficiency and smooth riding. It generates 8.2bhp and 10.2 Nm of torque, marginally better than the former one.

But the actual transformation is the redesigned CVT that enhances the acceleration at city speeds. A new starter system allows the engine to start more quietly. Besides this, the revised exhaust produces a more profound and clearer sound.

New Platform & Better Ride Quality

The scooter has a new, lighter and stronger frame based on the Access platform. According to Suzuki, the frame is 500 grams lighter and has increased rigidity.

Suspension responsibilities of the scooty have not been altered with telescopic forks and rear monoshock. The enhanced chassis can, however, be better in terms of stability when riding on a daily basis. A front disc/rear drum brake combination braking system is carried on the scooter.
