2023 Yamaha FZ-S FI V4 Launched in India With 2 New Colours

Indian Yamaha Motors (IYM) has launched two new colour schemes for the popular FZ-S FI V4 in India. The two new shades of this entry-level, naked bike will be Dark Matte Blue and Matte Black. The bikes are offered for Rs 1,28,900 for each shade. The bikes are launched to attract more audiences during this upcoming festive season in India. .
 

With the addition of these 2 new colours, the Yamaha FZ-S FI V4 is now available in 5 shades. The shades are 

• Metallic Grey, 
• Majesty Red, 
• Metallic Black, 
• Dark Matte Blue and 
• Matte Black. 
   

The bike has zero mechanical changes and continues to be powered by the same 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled four-stroke SOHC 2-valve Fi engine. It generates a power of 12.4 PS at 7,250 RPM and a high torque of 13.3 Nm at 5,500 RPM. The bike is also equipped with the braking setup of the front disc and rear drum, added with single-channel ABS.

• Tyre-hugger.
• Side-mounted exhaust system. 
• Traction Control System (TCS). 
• Bluetooth-enabled Y-connect application. 
• Black-finished alloy wheels.
• Blackened engine area.
   

The bike has a 13-litre fuel tank, and this motorcycle weighs 136 Kg. The electrical components also include an LED tail lamp and LED turn indicators. The whole motorcycle weight is transferred on the 100/80-17 front and a 140/60-17 radial tyre at the rear. It has monoshock suspension with 120 mm wheel travel, single-seat, single-peace grab trail, chrome duct plating and 3D emblem, etc. 

In December 2023, Yamaha is planning to launch the YZF-R3 and MT-03. Both bikes have 321 cc twin-cylinder fuel-injected engines generating around 42 bhp. This powertrain is mated with a standard six-speed transmission with a slipper and assist clutch. 
 

These bikes will be brought to the country via the CBU route and sold through the Blue Square dealerships in India. The prices are expected to be around Rs. 4 Lakh (Ex-showroom). The R3 will compete with the KTM 390 RC and the upcoming Aprilia RS 457, produced locally.
