All About Indian Bikes

Indian Bikes is a U.S. based brand owned by Polaris Industries. It entered the Indian market in 2014 with 3 high end V twin models. The bikes introduced were Chief Classic, Chief Vintage and Chieftain bikes. Over the years, the brand has become popular in India for its cruiser bikes and massive road presence. There are currently 7 Indian Bikes showrooms in India in major cities like Mumbai, Gurgaon, Delhi and Bangalore.

It features a wide selection and is organised into a number of model families. It is currently split into 6 main series: Scout, Chief, Springfield, Chieftain, Challenger, and Roadmaster & Pursuit. The Chief range includes several models, from the classic looking Chief Classic to the more premium and heavy Chieftain cruiser. The Dark Horse versions come with an all black, more aggressive design. Bikes like the Roadmaster and Springfield are built for long distance touring with added comfort and features.

On the other hand, the Scout is quite different from the rest, as it is lighter, more fun to ride, and uses a modern liquid cooled engine, while most other Indian bikes still follow the traditional air cooled setup.
