The New Electric Scooter of Simple Launching on May 23

Simple One complies with the new battery safety rules and is rated at 72 Nm and offers a stated range of 236 km.

Simple Energy has announced the launch date of its electric scooter Simple One, which is 23 May, 2023. It will be launched in Bangalore and the deliveries will be done phase wise, starting from Bangalore. The launch and delivery of the company's Simple One electric scooter has been postponed several times. The company says that it will be the fastest and high range electric scooter.

There were several incidents that occurred in the past of Electric Vehicle batteries catching fire.

This caused the government to intervene and prompt a crackdown on the producers and distributors of rebadged Chinese electric scooters. It led to the introduction of the new Automotive Industry Standards (AIS) amendment 3 ensuring better battery safety. At the same time, the company has also claimed the safety of the battery of its electric scooter. It is also said that the Simple One complies up with the new norms. 

Simple One Electric Scooter Specifications

The Simple One electric scooter can now be fitted with a 4.8 kWh Lithium Ion battery pack that provides a range of over 200 km. This electric scooter is capable of achieving 96% efficiency, which is good news for its customers. With an additional battery pack, this electric scooter offers a range of 300 km at a single charge. The Simple One offers a range of 236 km in Eco mode. With the help of its charger Simple Loop, the Simple One electric scooter can charge in just 60 seconds to travel for up to 2.5 km.
