Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) reported an impressive sales performance in December 2025. The company sold a total of 1,22,366 two-wheelers during the month, which is a 26% rise compared to the same period last year. This growth highlights Suzuki’s steady position in India’s competitive two-wheeler market and reflects rising customer confidence.
In the domestic segment, Suzuki sold 97,823 units in December 2025. This marked a healthy increase of around 24 percent compared to December 2024. Perhaps this growth was supported by stable demand for scooters and motorcycles, especially in urban and semi-urban areas. Models like the Access scooter and the Gixxer motorcycles continue to attract buyers due to their fuel efficiency, reliability, and modern features.
However, industry trends also suggest that improved availability of vehicles and better customer outreach by dealers have played an important role. In addition, festive season demand and year-end buying offers may have helped boost showroom footfall during December.
The export business showed even stronger growth. Suzuki exported 24,543 units in December 2025, recording a sharp 37 percent increase over the previous year. This indicates growing acceptance of Suzuki’s India-made two-wheelers in global markets.
In addition, the company’s spare parts division achieved its highest-ever monthly revenue of Rs 961 million. This was a 16% increase compared to last year and reflects strong after-sales demand.
Suzuki also focused on customer engagement during the month. The company organized mileage contests for Access scooter users and hosted GIXXER Pit Stop events in major cities. These activities helped riders connect with the brand through test rides, service support, and community interactions.
Commenting on the performance, Deepak Mutreja, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said the growth shows customer trust in Suzuki. He added that the company will continue to improve sales and after-sales experiences while expanding its network.
SMIPL manufactures its two-wheelers at its Gurugram facility, which has an annual capacity of 1.3 million units. Overall, December 2025 turned out to be a strong finish to the year for Suzuki Motorcycle India, setting a positive tone for the months ahead.
