Suzuki has introduced three new colour options for the Suzuki Hayabusa in India on October 9, 2026, alongside a new Special Edition. The latest update gives buyers more styling choices for the litre class superbike without changing its engine performance.

The standard Hayabusa is priced at Rs 18.99 lakh (ex showroom), while the Special Edition costs Rs 19.90 lakh. The new colours offer a fresh look for buyers considering this high performance motorcycle.

The Suzuki Hayabusa is now available in three new colour combinations. These options give buyers more choice without requiring them to move to the costlier Special Edition.

The new colour options include:

  • Candy Daring Red with Glass Sparkle Black
  • Metallic Galaxy Grey with Candy Burnt Gold
  • Pearl Vigor Blue with Pearl Brilliant White

The new shades focus on appearance rather than performance. Buyers can choose a colour that suits their preferences while retaining the motorcycle's existing mechanical package.

Engine and Technical Updates

The Suzuki bike continues to use a 1,340cc, liquid cooled, four cylinder engine. It produces 190 hp and 150 Nm of peak torque.

Suzuki has also introduced an ELIIY Power lithium ion battery. It replaces the conventional battery and is lighter and more compact. This helps reduce weight and frees up space on the motorcycle.

The company has revised the calibration of the Launch Control System and Power Mode Selector. These changes aim to refine the functioning of the electronic riding aids.

The Smart Cruise Control system also receives an update. It can now remain active during clutchless gear changes without cancelling the preset speed. This makes highway cruising more convenient for riders.

Hayabusa Special Edition: What Does It Offer?

The Special Edition gets a Pearl Vigor Blue finish with Pearl Brilliant White detailing. It also features exclusive graphics, specially finished wheels and a 3D fuel tank emblem.

A factory fitted single seat cowl gives it a sportier appearance. However, the Special Edition retains the standard motorcycle's engine and mechanical setup.

At Rs 19.90 lakh, it costs Rs 91,000 more than the standard Hayabusa. Buyers mainly pay extra for its exclusive styling.

Rivals and Final Verdict

Buyers exploring high performance motorcycles can also consider the Kawasaki Ninja ZX 10R and BMW S 1000 R. However, these motorcycles differ in design and riding purpose.

The updated Hayabusa makes sense for buyers who want its familiar performance with fresh styling options. Those focused on value should compare the standard and Special Edition prices before deciding.
