Royal Enfield will officially introduce the Flying Flea on April 10 in India. Moreover, the company plans to begin its electric journey with a new retail outlet in Bengaluru. Therefore, both the product launch and showroom opening will happen together, marking a fresh phase. However, pricing details are expected to be on the higher side due to premium positioning.

A 15.4kW PMSM electric motor has been used in the Flying Flea to enable it to perform a smooth and rapid acceleration in cities. Thus, easy speed can be achieved in 3.7 seconds by the motorcycle to 0 to 60 kmph. Also the maximum speed is 115 kmph and thus it is ideal in city and short highway use. It has a 3.91kWh battery, and thus offers an alleged IDC of 154 kilometres.
The motorcycle uses a 3.91kWh battery pack designed mainly for daily urban riding conditions and short distance travel. Moreover, the onboard charger can charge the battery from 20 to 80 percent in about 65 minutes. Therefore, this fast charging rate helps riders manage daily usage without long waiting periods. In addition, the performance figures remain suitable for city traffic and occasional open road riding situations.
The Flying Flea includes modern features such as LED lighting, navigation support, and wireless phone charging options. Moreover, rider safety is improved with cornering ABS and traction control systems for better stability. In addition, multiple riding modes including Sport and Individual allow riders to adjust throttle response and control levels. Therefore, the setup helps in handling different road conditions more comfortably.
The design follows a compact structure with an exposed frame and minimal body panels for a clean look. Moreover, details such as girder front suspension and a floating seat add a distinct visual identity. In addition, the removable pillion seat provides added flexibility for daily commuting needs. Therefore, the Flying Flea targets premium city buyers looking for a different electric motorcycle option.
