The upcoming Norton Atlas has been seen testing again in India before its official launch. New spy images show several details of the upcoming motorcycle. The test bike gives a clearer idea of the India-spec version. Moreover, the company plans to build this model in India. The launch is expected during the second half of 2026. The motorcycle will likely compete in the middleweight adventure segment.

The latest test unit shows golden upside down front forks on the motorcycle. This finish gives the front section a premium appearance. Moreover, the bike carries a muscular front fairing with a unique LED headlamp. A tall windscreen is also visible on the front section. In addition, the overall design looks clean and modern with a strong road presence.

The prototype appears to use a 19 inch front wheel and a 17 inch rear wheel setup. This combination usually helps with stable riding on highways and rough roads. However, the version shown earlier at EICMA had tubeless wire spoke wheels. Therefore, the India spec version may use alloy wheels instead.
Earlier test bikes in India were also seen with alloy wheels. This change may help TVS Motor Company manage production costs for the model.
The Norton Atlas will likely use a 585cc liquid cooled parallel twin engine with a six speed gearbox. The engine may produce around 70bhp. Moreover, the motorcycle is expected to include an 8 inch TFT display with connectivity features.
In addition, the bike may offer riding modes, traction control, and cruise control. These features will support comfortable riding on longer journeys.
The Atlas will be produced at the Hosur manufacturing facility of TVS Motor Company. The same plant will also build the TVS Apache RTX 300 and the BMW F 450 GS.
Earlier reports suggested the motorcycle could launch by mid 2026. However, production planning changes may move the launch closer to late 2026. The company may confirm the final launch timeline in the coming months.
