Harley-Davidson has Revealed the X440 T in India, roughly two years since the first X440 emerged via the Hero partnership. The new model features a redesigned rear section to offer a cleaner, more angular look.
Additionally, it gets bar end mirrors and four new colour options. Mechanically, the X440 T is the same as the original X440, and the expected price, therefore, should remain in the Rs. 2.40 lakh - Rs. 2.80 lakh bracket.

The most distinctive difference in the X440 T is the rear three-quarter section, which now looks more pointed and proportionate. The design reduces the vacated space between the rear wheel and fender, thereby imparting a more balanced look to the motorcycle.
Additionally, the addition of bar end mirrors and four new colour schemes sets this bike apart in the traffic. The front remains largely identical to the X440 as Harley has not issued any front facing shots of the bike.

Also, gone is the big external throttle cable from the X440, replaced presumably by a ride by wire system. The bike should now include features such as riding modes and traction control too. However, the switchgear does not include cruise control like some recent Hero launches. So, all these changes indeed point toward the fact that this X440 T is more about cosmetic tweaks, feature updates rather than an all-new design.

The X440 T shares the same frame, engine, and suspension setup as the X440, along with wheel sizes. Dual disc brakes remain, meaning similar stopping performance too. Full specifications have not been provided by Harley-Davidson and Hero, but pricing should stay in the Rs. 2.40 lakh to Rs. 2.80 lakh bracket ex-showroom, Delhi. With that, the X440 T seems to be bringing updated styling and minor feature updates while retaining the original mechanical package.
It will also come in four new colour schemes to add variety for prospective buyers. The motorcycle sports an angular rear design and bar end mirrors, which further enhance its overall visual appeal. All in all, the X440 T brings a fresh new look along with minor functional updates, but remains in close relation to the original X440 in terms of performance and price.
