LML Star Electric Scooter Launch in September 2023: Pre-Bookings Now Open at Zero Cost

LML Emotion unveiled its decades-after “electrified” comeback product, the all-electric LML Star, at Auto Expo 2023, creating a lot of buzz. LML StarStar’s launch date in India is set for September 2023. However, pre-bookings of the same have now been made open to the public. This new addition will be competing with models like Hero Vida V1, TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, etc.

LML Star e-scooter: Battery, Range and Performance

LML Star electric scooter will be powered by 2 lithium-ion battery packs, and each will have a 2 kWh capacity. However, the most intriguing part of its battery is that it will be removable units. LML Star motor will have an output generation of 5 kW/6.7 bhp, with a claimed top speed of 90 kmph. While we’re still waiting for the company to reveal information regarding the scooter’s range, it is expected that it will offer a mileage of 150 km per charge. 

LML Star e-scooter: Highlighting Features

LML Star will be getting telescopic front forks and a mono-shock absorber at the rear that is surely going to add to the user’s comfort. Disc brakes will handle braking duties at the front and a drum braking unit at the rear. Furthermore, the e-scooter will get a combined braking system, along with 12-inch tyres both front and rear. LML Star will roughly weigh around 115 kg.

In addition to that, the electric scooter will sport a 7-inch TFT instrument cluster with BlueTooth connectivity. It will also feature a segment-first customisable interactive display on the front apron. It will also have an all-LED lighting system, Reverse mode, TPMS, hill-hold assistance, and more. There will also be 2 cameras on either side of the scooter, promoting a 360-degree view of the driver. 

LML Star e-scooter: Price, Competitors & Warranty

LML Star price in India is expected to be starting from Rs 1.50 Lakh. It will give tough competition to TVS iQube, Hero Vida V1, Bajaj Chetak, etc. Additionally, the company has revealed that the LML Star will be sold pan-India from day 1 itself. It will come with a 2-year warranty and a 3-year warranty for its battery pack. However, more extended warranty options will also be available to the customers.
