The Kawasaki Versys 1100 has become more expensive after the introduction of GST 2.0. The premium ADV tourer now costs Rs 13.79 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it dearer by around Rs 90,000 than before. Despite the price jump, the bike continues to hold a unique place in the Indian market as the only inline-four, road-focused ADV available in this price range.

The Versys 1100 is equipped with a 1,099cc inline-four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. It delivers 133bhp at 9,000rpm and 112Nm of torque at 7,600rpm, offering smooth and strong performance across different speeds. The engine comes paired with a six-speed gearbox, which ensures quick and precise gear shifts.
On highways, this motor shines the most, offering a mix of power and refinement. Riders can enjoy effortless cruising at high speeds, which is exactly what this Kawasaki bike is built for.
The Versys 1100 looks tall and imposing, giving it a strong road presence. At the front, twin LED headlights add to its sharp and modern look. The large fuel tank and chunky tail section further enhance its touring-focused styling.
The split seats are wide and well-cushioned, which makes long rides more comfortable for both the rider and pillion. While its size can feel a bit intimidating at first, it adds to the bike’s personality on open roads.
The motorcycle uses a twin-tube aluminium frame, which gives it good strength and balance. At the front, there’s a USD fork with preload and rebound adjustability, allowing riders to fine-tune their setup. At the rear, a monoshock with remote adjustability adds convenience.
Furthermore, the Versys 1100 gets twin 310mm discs at the front and a 260mm disc at the rear, offering strong and controlled stopping power. It rides on 17-inch wheels, paired with 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres, giving it stable road grip.
The bike comes packed with features, too. It gets all-LED lighting, an adjustable windscreen, cruise control, traction and wheelie control, engine brake control, power modes, IMU, ABS, and even a USB Type-C charging port. These features make the Versys 1100 feel premium and practical, especially for long-distance touring.
