I bought the Versys 1100 mainly for long highway trips. The bike feels very comfortable even after hours of riding. The tall windscreen helps reduce wind fatigue. The engine is powerful and smooth at high speeds. I also like the upright seating position. It is a bit big for city use, but on highways, it feels perfect for touring.

The 1099cc engine gives around 17.8 kmpl mileage and crosses 240 km/h. Also the long-travel suspension improves comfort. Spoke wheels and dual-purpose tyres handle rough roads. It suits touring and adventure rides.
