Is Hero Planning to Release a Pleasure Plus Update on March 6

Hero has provided a sneak peek of its newest scooter on its social media account.

Hero Motocorp has shared a "save the date" announcement on its social media platform, scheduled for March 6, indicating that something "super" is coming. 

 The post on social media features Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt, leading us to believe that the Hero is planning to bring something big on 6th March. Further, it may be an update to the Pleasure Plus scooter. However, the specific details about the product are yet to be revealed.  With its latest Xoom 110 offering, Hero deviated from the trend of providing performance-oriented scooters in the 125cc category. We anticipate that Hero will repeat this strategy with the updated Pleasure Plus. 

 However, we don't expect any performance enhancements on the updated model. Rather, the primary updates are likely to be internal, such as the inclusion of larger 12-inch wheels and a revamped instrument cluster with additional features, similar to the Xoom 110. 

 The addition of these features, combined with existing technologies such as i3S, will further enhance the Pleasure Plus and make it a more comprehensive offering.

In addition, the upgraded Hero Pleasure Plus will be the initial Hero model to conform to both OBD2 and E20 standards for ethanol-mixed fuel. Although Hero is expected to raise the price slightly. The increase is projected to be relatively minor given the company's track record. 

 As a result, we anticipate the updated Pleasure Plus to cost between Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000(ex-showroom) which is an increase of around Rs 2,000 across all variants.
