Hero MotoCorp has introduced its newest electric scooter in the market, VIDA VX2, which targets urban commuters in India. The brand offers it in two variants VX2 Go and VX2 Plus, it brings flexible pricing with both standard and subscription options. This electric scooter comes with removable batteries and fast-charging support, it also gets smart features like ride tracking and navigation. The launch strengthens Hero electric scooter range by adding a more accessible, tech-friendly option for everyday city use.

The VX2 Go is priced at Rs 99,490 and the VX2 Plus at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom) without the subscription. With the Battery-as-a-Service model, the VX2 Go comes at Rs 59,490, while the VX2 Plus is available for Rs 64,990. VIDA says the cost of running the scooter is around Rs 0.96 per kilometre, depending on daily usage plans.
The VX2 Plus is equipped with two removable batteries of 3.4 kWh, offering an IDC range of 142 km. On the other hand, the VX2 Go uses a single 2.2 kWh battery that provides an IDC range of 92 km. With fast charging, the battery can reach 80 percent in just an hour, while the standard bundled charger takes about six hours to do the same.
Both scooters offer cloud connectivity with remote immobilisation, live ride data, and turn-by-turn navigation. VX2 Plus uses a 4.3-inch TFT screen, while VX2 Go gets an LCD display. Moreover, seven colour choices and modern styling give the VX2 a fresh street presence. The VX2 Go variant provides 33.2-litre under-seat storage, large enough for a full-face helmet.
