Bajaj CNG Bike Patent Revealed: Check Out Its Blueprint Design

Bajaj Auto is ready to launch a CNG motorcycle in India. We've got a sneak peek into the design of the bike through leaked blueprints. These blueprints show us how the bike is structured, including where the CNG and petrol tanks are placed. 

The company has been testing engineering samples, showing its uncompromising commitment to the development of CNG motorcycles. In fact, it aims to launch a diverse range of 5-6 different CNG motorcycles by 2025. The first of these, the “Bajaj Bruzer 125,” is all set to launch on June 18, 2024. 

What is The Blueprint Design for The Upcoming Bajaj CNG Bike Unveils? 

The leaked images of the upcoming CNG bike reveal some interesting design features. It will have a double cradle frame, which means it will have two main frames to support the engine and other features. The bike’s chassis will also have braces and a subframe specifically designed to support the CNG tank.

The Bajaj Bruzer 125 bike will be fitted with a ‘sloper engine’, where the cylinder is placed almost parallel to the rear swingarm. This design provides space for CNG and fuel storage.

The CNG tank will be centrally located under the seat, with the filling tube towards the front of the bike. Also, the fuel tank is still compact and is placed in the conventional position with a cover.

Bajaj will face the challenge of managing the weight distribution of the bike. The three important components of a Bajaj CNG bike engine, CNG cylinder and fuel tank will now contribute to that weight.

Bajaj CNG Bike: Specifications

The upcoming Bajaj CNG motorcycle will have a 125cc engine running on CNG. It uses less fuel than a regular petrol bike, making it cheaper to run and better for the environment. It will have classic round headlights, thick handlebars and a long, boxy single-seat body.

This CNG bike will come with modern features like front disc brakes, single-channel ABS for safety, LED headlights for better visibility, and a digital display for the instrument panel. This upcoming motorcycle will have a telescopic fork on the front and a monoshock on the other end. Additionally, it will have disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear for better stopping power.
