Specs & Features of Bajaj Chetak EV

Speaking of the Specs, the Chetak is powered by a 2.9 kWh battery pack. Paired with a PMSM electric motor, the battery produces 4.2 kW power & 20 Nm of torque. Additionally, the battery offers a 63 Kmph top speed & 108 km of range in one full charge.  

The electric scooter has the capability to be fully charged in 4 hours. Simultaneously, a 0 - 80% charge can be achieved in 2.75 hours, the company claimed 

Featuring a feather touch switchgear, full-LED lighting & a digital console, the Chetak has used high-quality materials on the mirror stalks, side stand & pillion foot pegs.

Bajaj has some exciting plans going on. The launch of a new low-cost variant is among the plans, as per a recently spotted testing. While the overall design is likely to be unchanged, there may be some cosmetic changes in the new variant. One notable change could be the replacement of metal panels with plastic panels. So, get ready for an affordable & stylish Chetak EV! 

Speaking of specs, the low-cost Chetak EV will be powered by the same 2.9kWh battery pack. With an expected range of up to 105 km & 60 kmph top speed, the battery will be paired with a new hub-mounted motor. 

Coming to the features, the new low-cost Chetak is expected to feature all LED lighting, alloy wheels, drum brakes with CBS, Bluetooth connectivity & much more.
