Avore has officially launched its first electric motorcycle in India, now named the Avore EX2S. The bike was unveiled in Gandhinagar by Shri Bhupendra Patel, marking a significant step in India’s electric mobility journey. The company is positioning the EX2S as India’s first indigenous electric bike, highlighting its locally developed technology and engineering.

Powertrain Focused on Performance & Efficiency

Gujarat CM Launching Avore Bike

The Avore EX2S comes equipped with a 10.5 kW V Type PMSM motor, designed to deliver a balance of performance and efficiency.

Avore EX2S Features

The motor setup is built around three key aspects:

  • Operational Speed – Ensures smooth acceleration and responsive performance for both city rides and highway usage.
  • Reliability – Built to offer consistent output across different riding conditions.
  • Thermal Management – Helps maintain efficiency and reduces the chances of overheating during longer rides.

This setup supports Avore’s aim of introducing a sporty yet usable electric motorcycle for Indian riders.

Split Battery Pack for Better Cooling

A major highlight of the EX2S is its split battery pack design. This unique setup allows natural cooling, as air flows between the battery units. As a result, it improves thermal management and helps maintain battery performance, especially during extended usage or in high-temperature conditions.

Expected Specs & Market Positioning

The Avore EX2S is expected to feature a 5 kWh battery pack, producing around 14.2 PS of power. It is likely to offer a riding range of approximately 120 km on a full charge, making it suitable for daily commuting needs.

In terms of pricing, this Avore Electric bike is expected to be around Rs. 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom), placing it in the entry-level premium electric motorcycle segment.

What Buyers Get with the Launch

With the official unveiling now complete, Avore is expected to confirm:

  • Final pricing and available variants
  • Certified riding range and charging time
  • Warranty and service plans
  • Delivery timelines

Competition in the Segment

With this launch, the Avore EX2S enters a competitive space in India’s EV market. It will rival models like the Oben Rorr EZ and Revolt RV400, both of which are already established in the segment.

This launch strengthens Avore’s entry into the electric motorcycle space, especially with its focus on indigenous development and practical innovations like the split battery system.
