Auto Expo 2023: Ultraviolette Reveals Another Electric Beast - F99: Here’s How it Differs From F77

At the 2023 Auto Expo, Ultraviolette showcased yet another electric beast. Here are several ways that the track-spec F99 racing bike platform, a powerful electric motorbike created for a factory racing programme, differs from the F77.

The F99 displays characteristics that scream racing even if it does keep the futuristic and athletic look of the road-legal F77. It gets winglets as a start! The battery pack and engine are intended to be kept functioning at ideal temperatures by these aero bits, which are situated at the sides.

In addition to getting carbon fibre aero-covers for the fashionable 17-inch wheels, it sports a carbon fibre number plate in place of the LED headlamp seen on the F77. Fancy!

Due to their constant need to push forth far more performance, the battery pack and motor are fundamentally different. As a result, the F99 can reach a top speed of 200 kmph (claimed), which is over 50 kmph faster than the F77 Recon, thanks to its motor’s huge 50 kW peak output, 21 kW more than the F77 Recon. In addition, the F99 gets a customisable riding position with CNC machined rear sets to make it livelier.

The Bybre callipers and disc brakes are the same as those seen on its street-legal brothers. However, sintered brake pads might be enhanced for use in racing. In addition, the race bike is equipped with grippier Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres to improve control while delivering enhanced performance.

In 2035, Ultraviolette Automotive will launch its own racing league, as previously mentioned. Will the racing league begin this year, though, with the introduction of the F99 race platform? More information will be revealed to us soon enough.
